Consumer Worksheet

While working on the consumer sheet, a lot of prices and working conditions the laborers were paid and had to work under were very surprising. Even though China and many little countries in Central America don't make much they are still put under horrible working conditions and paid very little to do so. As I compared the different countries and wages they were being paid, it was no comparison to the United States. On one website, it said Mexico workers made $3 a day as if they were the highest paid workers in the manufacturing of the products. Although it seems not fair to us, the privileged Americans, the laborers in countries find that a job is a job no matter the working conditions or pay, as long as they are able to eat and survive in their country it is fine and fair. As an American, I do not think I could live or work, like many Chinese, Mexican, and other laborers do so, yet America are the main consumers of those countries, giving them our support for the working conditions and the little pay they receive.
